TIPS ON HOW TO RENT AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT ::

Here are questions you need to ask yourself before renting equipment for the big game!

1. HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU EXPECT TO ATTEND YOUR SPORTING EVENT PARTY?

Obviously, the most important question we feel is this one!

With so much going on and so many places to see the game at, find out who is “actually” going to show up?

No need to go through the trouble of going “big on game day” to show off to your “invisible friends”!

Also, waisted time and money on renting equipment.  So find out how many people you expect to be there, actually be there!!! This will determine what equipment you will need to rent for the game.

2. WILL IT BE AN INDOOR EVENT OR OUTDOORS?

This is key to know what screen you will need.  NOTE ::  screens outdoors turn into sails like on a sailboat.  They will tip right over with a slightest of wind.  

We have seen it happen, right in the middle of the game, right before a 4th and goal and swooshhhhhhh, the screen tips right over. (scream whatever you want at this point)

How to avoid this embarrassing moment, and most importantly, missing what happened!, know if it will be indoors or outdoors, and if outdoors use TV monitors or truss supports to hold the screen in a safe place, and indoors, go ahead get creative with a large screen that will NOT tip over!  (enjoy your ice cold beer)

3. HOW LARGE IS EVENT YOUR SPACE?

This is important because of ceiling heights, does your living room have an 8 foot ceiling or a 12 or bigger?

Do you have a spacious backyard and different stations so while your pouring a drink you can see the game, the more TVs the better = enjoying the game (it could be too much, but we threw it out there as an idea), and when your sitting by the pool you can too?  Know your game space.  (enjoy some chips and dip)

4. TV SCREEN OR A PROJECTOR AND SCREEN?

Again, if it is indoors or outdoors that will dictate this on its own.  A 70″ TV monitor is excellent for a large crowd and 55″ TV screens around different areas are also perfect to fill up a space with a large game crowd.

5. WILL I NEED A SOUND SYSTEM?

If your showing the game outdoors you will need to amplify your sound system, unless of course you already have outdoor sound.  (obviously) The sound will be in the form of monitors like at a concert, so you can choose the location you want them placed at, depending on the set up you want of your backyard or game space.

Indoor sound, same thing, you will run an output from your current sound device and put that in a mixer and from there go to the sound monitors.  

Confusing?  No worries, AV Outsource, the audio visual rental company will know what to do with all this tech stuff, just know if you need extra sound and in how many places will you need it at.  (pizza pizza food time!)

6. BEST TIME TO SET UP AND BREAK DOWN?

We have seen it happen, we set up the game, everything is perfect = bar, food, decor, team banners and NO TV SIGNAL!!!!

So make sure you organize the set up with plenty of time, and check your TV signal before the game day, A MUST DO!

You can call your cable company if you feel that a TV next to your pool is the best option, or running a long cable with a signal booster will do the trick.  Breakdown / Pick up?  After the game, so you can enjoy the the game celebration and sleep well knowing that all the equipment has been picked up and cleared away! (Touchdown!)

7. WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY FREE TIME?  WHAT TEAM AM I CHEERING FOR?

Macdonnell Group Investments has been Revoked For Non Payment.

They hosted an “Annual Seminar” in Miami Beach and DID NOT pay for their audio visual rental services.

The Canada based company is located at :: 1100 – 1505 Barrington St. Halifax NS Canada B3J 3K5Canada.  

Again, they hosted the “First Annual How to Get Free Audio Visual Services in Miami Beach Without Paying”. 

The event location was at the legendary Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach.  The hotel seminar / convention was held on March 27 – 30, 2017.

NOTE :: “Mr. Mathew James Healey “says” he is in the process of taking legal action against MacDonnell Group Investments as he “claims” is also a victim of the company’s “non-payment scheme.”  He was an employee of the company not the “primary main host of this business event”.  The post is NOT INTENDED to portray Mr. Mathew James Healey in an inaccurate manner and by no means to deliberately portray him or cause a “defamation of character”.  Our Marketing company has posted this blog to collect an “”outstanding debt”” that was deliberately done on purpose by providing a non-sufficient funds check with “scribbled cents”.

How do you avoid working for free?

Always ask for identification from the person who is in charge of the event.  

This business event on “how to write a non-sufficient funds check” was professionally hosted by MacDonnell Group Investments and Mr. Mathew James Healy (mathewhealy@macdonnell.com) (mathewhealy@gmail.com) (mathewhealy@me.com) was the person of contact and organized the rental of audio visual.

Other “business professionals” where also at attendance and in on the act such as :: Mr. Dean Smith and Mr. Peter Stewart.

MAKE SURE THE CHECK CLEARS BEOFRE YOUR EVENT ::

The Macdonnell Group Investments company (phone # 902.292.7889) President Mr. Ralston Macdonnell (ralston@macdonnell.com) provided a company check that was latter returned for “non-sufficient funds“.  See image of check provided below.

WHAT DOES MACDONNELL GROUP ACTUALLY DO BESIDES NOT PAY INVOICES? ::

“They provides consulting and technology services for multi discipline engineering, environmental consulting, geomatics, mapping, GIS, and management consulting.

WHAT DID THE NSF EVENT LOOK LIKE? ::

The event was a ballroom set-up with round tables.  They requested wireless microphones, a professional sound system, computer projector (this they did pay for using a credit card in advance, that was provided by Mathew James Whealy), large screen and all the labor involved to set up and break down.  This all included delivery and pick up as well as technicians onsite to assist.

OUTCOME ON PAYMENT STATUS? :: 

Our accounting department has sent many “final notices”.  When the check was returned for non-sufficient funds on April 14, 2017, we have sent over 45+ emails to the following addresses in attempt to receive payment without success.   accounting@macdonnell.com, v.lake@macdonnell.com, ce1@macdonnell.com

Macdonnell Group Investments Revoked For Non Payment Seminar ::

As of today, no payment has been received.  Be aware when working with this deceiving Investment company called Macdonnell Group Investments Limited because they LOVE to write Non-Sufficient Funds.  They love not paying their bills for services rendered.

WHAT AUDIO VISUAL DID THEY RENT? ::

The Microsoft store in Dadeland mall is medium sized.  It’s an open space and we wanted the Madden Football game to be heard in the entire store clearly.  In order to accomplish this, we used “2” powered 500+ watt speakers connected to a Bose digital mixer to control the inputs of sound from the Xbox sound station.

The location for this branding event was at the famous Dadeland Mall.  The mall is a large enclosed shopping mall located in the Greater Miami suburb of Kendall, Florida.  (great shopping mall!)
